700W Fiber Laser Welding Machine
— Continuous & Pulsed Modes
Powered by a 700W advanced industrial fiber laser source, the X1 Pro laser welding machine delivers two precision welding modes purpose-built for different metalworking scenarios.
Master Every Weld
Any Metal. Any Thickness. Any Joint.
From 0.008" (0.2mm) thin sheet to 0.2" (5mm) structural stock — the X1 Pro fiber laser welder and laser welding machine for stainless steel, carbon steel, aluminum, and more handles it all in a single pass. Butt welds, fillet welds, outside corner welds, T-joints, lap joints. Any metal, any joint, no compromises.
Single & Dual Wire Feed —
Precision to High Fill Joint
The X1 Pro laser welding machine adapts to your fabrication demands, offering unmatched versatility from delicate precision to heavy-duty output.
Dual Wire Mode
More fill, less time. Wider beads, superior gap-bridging, and faster joint fill rates for butt, corner, and fillet welds.
Single Wire Mode
Clean, narrow cosmetic welds on thin sheet metal and delicate components — tight control.
Built-In Metal Cutting
No Separate Equipment Needed
The X1 Pro is a laser welder and cutter in one — no separate machine needed. Cut stainless steel and carbon steel up to 3mm cleanly in a single pass. Narrower kerf, cleaner edge, less heat than plasma cutting. Built for quick on-site trims and adjustments. One tool. Less to carry. More to get done.
Laser Cleaning
Fast, Clean & Efficient Surface Preparation
Laser Cleaning Fast, Clean & Efficient Surface Preparation
Proper weld prep is crucial for strong joints. Switch to surface prep mode and the X1 Pro's fiber laser burns off oxides, paint, and coatings right at the weld zone — no chemicals, no abrasives, no extra tools. Your base metal is perfectly prepped and ready to weld, all in the same session.
Next Gen
Underwater Welding
The X1 Pro's specialized nozzle can be safely submerged, bringing underwater laser welding capabilities to your toolkit. Designed with advanced insulation and process safeguards, it enables users to handle damp environments or underwater joints with confidence, delivering stable, high-quality results where traditional electrical welders fail.
Weld Like a Pro
Without the Learning Curve
When comparing laser welding vs TIG welding, the X1 Pro wins on every front — no steep learning curve, no burn-through risk. Just point, trigger, and the auto-focus nozzle handles the rest. Faster results, stronger seams, and far more forgiving than TIG.
Works on 100V–250V
Plug in and Weld Anywhere
The X1 Pro supports 100V–250V wide voltage input for stable performance across different regions, running reliably on standard household and workshop power with no need for industrial electrical setup. Designed for garages, studios and small shops, it lets you bring the welder straight to the job site with total flexibility.

FAQ
What metals can the X1 Pro laser welderwork with?
The X1 Pro is compatible with stainless steel (304/316), carbon steel, mild steel, aluminum, titanium, brass, nickel alloys, and galvanized sheet. The laser cleaning function works on any metal surface, removing rust, paint, oil, and oxides without abrasives or chemicals.
How thick of metal can the X1 Pro weldand cut?
For welding, the X1 Pro handles 0.5mm to 3mm (0.02"–0.12") in a single pass across stainless steel, carbon steel, and most alloys. Aluminum is recommended up to approximately 0.5–2mm at 100% power for best results. For cutting, it cleanly slices stainless steel and carbon steel up to 3mm.
Can the X1 Pro laser weld aluminum?
Yes.
Compared to traditional MIG/TIG, laser welding aluminum is easier to operate and produces much less spatter. However, aluminum is highly reflective — so two tips are key: adjust the focus to concentrate energy on the surface, and watch for the green glow. The green plasma plume tells you the focus and parameters are dialed in correctly.
What is the difference between the X1Pro and the X1 Handheld Laser Welder?
The X1 Pro (700W) is the full-featured model with 4 functions: welding, cutting, rust removal/cleaning, and surface prep — plus an external wire feeder, 7" touchscreen HMI, preset library, and CNC compatibility. It weighs 19kg (42 lbs) and is designed for workshop and production use. The X1 Handheld is a more compact, portable-first model (12kg / 26.5 lbs) optimized for welding on-site, with a simpler analog interface. If you need cutting, cleaning, and the wire feeder, choose the X1 Pro. If portability is your priority and you only need to weld, the X1 is a better fit.
Does the X1 Pro come witheverything I need to start welding?
Yes. Every X1 Pro ships as a complete, out-of-the-box kit. Included: X1 Pro main unit, welding gun, wire feeder (Single/Dual), laser gun holder, power cable, wire feeder power signal cable, wire feeder tube, gas fitting adapter, gas hose, focusing lens ×2, protective lens ×5, external emergency stop, laser welding helmet, safety goggles, apron, safety clip, and laser nozzle accessories box (wire feeding nozzles in 0.8mm, 1.0mm, 1.2mm, 1.6mm, plus cutting and outer angle nozzles). You will need to supply shielding gas (argon or nitrogen) and filler wire separately.
How difficult is the X1 Proto learn for a beginner?
Most users produce clean, usable welds within their first session. The X1 Pro's 7" touchscreen HMI includes a preset parameter library for common materials and thicknesses — select your material, set your thickness, and the machine provides a starting point. Unlike TIG welding, there is no arc striking or filler rod coordination required. The welding gun itself stores up to 3 custom presets for quick in-hand switching. A full instruction manual and video tutorial library are available at the XLaserLab Support Center.
What power supply does the X1 Pro require? CanI run it on 120V household power?
The X1 Pro supports 100–240V input, making it compatible with standard US 120V household outlets as well as 240V workshop circuits.
What maintenance does the X1 Prorequire?
Low maintenance requirements: (1) Clean the protective goggles with anhydrous isopropyl alcohol weekly or after heavy use — dirty goggles are the most common cause of declining welding quality. (2) If you encounter wire feeding issues, check and clean the wire feeding path — inspect the tension roller and wire guide tube. (3) The storage environment should remain dry and have a temperature above 10°C (50°F). XLaserLab provides direct purchase protective goggles replacement kits (5-piece set).
Is the X1 Pro safe to use at home or ina small workshop?
Yes, with appropriate precautions. The X1 Pro includes an emergency stop switch, safety clip, and a laser welding helmet (OD8 rated for 950–1100nm). You must always wear the included helmet or laser safety goggles when operating — never use standard welding shades, as they do not block the fiber laser wavelength. Ensure adequate ventilation for the welding fumes produced by your base metal. The machine should not be used in rain or high-humidity environments unless using the underwater welding nozzle attachment under controlled conditions.
