What voltage does the X1 support?
The X1 operates exclusively on a stable 220V power supply. It does not support 110V input directly. For regions that only provide 110V, we strongly recommend using a high-capacity industrial step-up transformer with voltage stabilization to ensure consistent output and protect internal laser components. Our company does not sell transformers.
Do I need shielding gas when using the X1?
Yes. The X1 requires shielding gas before laser emission is enabled. Shielding gas is mandatory for all welding operations to ensure weld quality, reduce oxidation, and protect the molten pool. The machine will not activate without a connected gas source.
What types of shielding gas can I use with the X1?
The X1 supports the following gases:
Argon (Ar) — recommended for best weld appearance
Nitrogen (N₂) — suitable for general welding
Available air separator / optional air separator
How can I ensure safe operation?
The X1 is built with multiple safety protections, including: Safety clip/Emergency stop button/Laser interlock system.
Each unit also includes protective laser goggles to ensure safe operation during welding. Always wear proper PPE and follow the user manual when working with laser welding equipment.
